I have been baking for as long as I can remember. It all began with dirt pies in the yard, but quickly advanced to more tasty treats.
One of my earliest memories of baking was when I was baking brownies with a friend. The concept of measuring was still new and instead of a 1/4 teaspoon of salt I measured out a 1/4 cup! The extra salt didn't make the batter look any different and I remember our excitement when it came time to taste the batter. Our mouths were watering, we each tried it, and quickly spit it out. Yuck!
My measuring skills have greatly improved since then. I am a home baker and have learned most of my lessons, such as the salt one, through trial and error. The treats I offer to help you make are based on either old family-friend recipes, new ones, or ones I created myself.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of baking some amazing treats, for some wonderful people. If the treats you bake are still hanging around after a while, maybe you just need a little help.
